The Vesper Room
The Vesper Room is a Carl Tatz Design® 7.1.4 PhantomFocus Dolby Atmos MixRoom™ studio located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, TN owned and operated by composer/engineer Chris Leon. This compact immersive studio located in an expanded garage loft presented several acoustic and ergonomic challenges that were able to be met rendering a comfortable recording space and precision mix environment. Featured are: Eleven PFM HD-1000 Master Reference Monitors, a Carl Tatz Edition™ Dual 15L console by Argosy®, a pair of PFM ICE Cube-12 subwoofers, a pair of Silver Mesh Chrome eChairs™, seven PF Monitor Stands by Sound Anchors including a PhantomFocus motorized center monitor lift, a Touchstone video monitor lift, a pair of PhantomFocus 8800 digital processors by Ashly programmed to switch settings between up and down video screen positions to accommodate frequency response changes, Yamaha C7X grand piano, JBL Synthesis SDP-75 for Atmos playback, Grace M908 monitor controller, a full complement of outboard gear and mics. The Carl Tatz Design Acoustic Lens™ System and all custom acoustic modules by Auralex®.
