FLY BY WEST II

The second studio designed by CTD for Nashville engineer/producer Derek West, Fly By West is a unique facility retrofitted into an unused boat garage with unusually high ceilings. It features a CTD MixRoom™ with a PhantomFocus™ System and the Carl Tatz Signature Series™ acoustic modules by Auralex. The tracking room’s multi-angled twenty-foot high knotty pine, tongue-in-groove ceilings are shared with a multi-purpose loft that is reached via a wrought iron spiral staircase. The loft area can be used by out-of-town clients for stay-over projects and offers great acoustic variety when tracking. The uniquely positioned over-dub booths at the control room’s rear attest to West’s preferred M.O.
