Verge Studios owner, Brian Eckert, hired CTD to design and build this beautiful facility to be used as a production suite to develop artists for his successful Verge Entertainment Company in Nashville. The control room was acoustically calculated to house a PhantomFocus System™ Four – Near Field and features acoustic louvered side walls that act as a sonic lens absorbing and diffusing the monitor’s mid and high frequency first reflections, and also redirecting them throughout the room supporting a secondary sweet spot. The entire front wall is a CTD black steel primary axial mode absorber that facilitates and controls low frequencies in this 20Hz room. The tracking area offers an ISO booth and amp closet.
