Black Cat Studio

Black Cat Studio is a luxury destination PhantomFocus MixRoom™ studio built from the ground up in a barn-themed structure just outside of Nashville, TN in a pastoral setting. Multi-Platinum songwriter Sammy Mitchell hired Carl Tatz Design® to design this beautiful studio and features an acoustically neutral tracking room with two signature CTD overdub booths, a utility room with amp closet, a comfortable lounge and kitchenette and the pièce de résistance PhantomFocus MixRoom. The MixRoom features a top-of-the-line PFM UHD-1000 monitor system with primary and secondary sweet spots, PhantomFocus eChairs™, AcousticLens™ wall treatment, and Axial Mode Absorber™ rear wall. The other half of the barn is a full two-story residence for out-of-town clients and is separated by a large breezeway that facilitates easy load-ins.
